Meet Rex! Big golden eyes and a puppy like temprament, he just wants to be everybody's friend.
Hes a sweet boy that needs his very own person to love. He likes to be with his people adventuring or playing fetch. He likes playing with other dogs, loves playing with puppies and is patient and gentle with all size dogs.
Hes traveled with his foster parents all over the north island and been on lots of adventures here in Auckland but hes ready to settle down into a more couch potato life that he was meant to lead.
He is gentle and sweet with the toddler in his foster home and would make a lovely family dog with small kids or big kids. He will share their snacks if given the opportunity though and has no remorse. He hasnt been tested with cats, but his original family did have a cat so with the right introduction he should be ok.
He's crate trained, toilet trained and basic obedience trained. Now I know your thinking "wow, hes perfect" but he does have some quirks. One being, once he recognizes a property as his he will guard it but in typical ridgeback fashion will run away under pressure rather than engage.
