Meet Quade, the dog who is 50% sweetheart, 50% chaos, and 100% convinced he can catch every fly in the Southern Hemisphere. If enthusiasm were a sport, he’d be representing New Zealand at the Olympics.
The Professional People-Lover
Quade doesn’t just like people, he collects them. Kids, adults, strangers, delivery drivers… if you have a pulse, he has a snuggle with your name on it. He’ll sit politely for pats like a tiny furry diplomat, then lean his whole body weight into you like he’s trying to merge souls.
The Fly-Hunting Acrobat
Some dogs chase balls. Quade chases flies. With commitment. With passion. With the athletic intensity of someone who believes this is his life’s calling. Expect mid‑air leaps, dramatic snaps, and the occasional confused look when the fly outsmarts him.
The Student With… Let’s Call It “Potential”
He’s learning down, manners, and how not to greet other dogs like a cannonball of friendship. He’s genuinely trying, he just sometimes forgets that not every dog wants to be approached like a furry missile. But he’s smart, he’s eager, and his recall is solid, which is basically the canine version of “shows promise on his report card.”
The Exercise Buddy You Didn’t Know You Needed
Walks? Yes. Adventures? Absolutely. Zoomies? Constant. Quade needs good exercise and will happily help you achieve your daily step count whether you asked for help or not.
The Home He’s Dreaming Of
A family who loves affection and laughter

Another dog? Great, he’d love a mentor, but he’s fine solo too

He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but given his enthusiasm for chasing small flying things… the cat may file a complaint.
