Meadow
MALE | BORN APPROX JUNE 2025 | STAFFY X WHIPPET
LOCATED IN AUCKLAND
If you're looking for a dog who brings equal parts adventure, affection, and laughter, Meadow might just be your perfect match.
This gorgeous girl greets life (and everyone in it) with a tail wag so enthusiastic she regularly smacks herself with it. We're still not sure if it's excitement or a built-in percussion instrument.
People? Absolutely obsessed.
Meadow believes everyone is a friend she just hasn't met yet. She leans into you for cuddles, hands out kisses like they're free, and happily offers a paw before you've even asked.
She can be a little unsure when visitors first arrive, and when she needs a moment, she'll quietly retreat to her crate until she's feeling confident again. We love that she knows when she needs a little break.
Dog social life
She absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Her enthusiasm can occasionally outweigh her manners, but she's eager to learn and just needs a bit of guidance to polish those social skills.
Play hard... nap harder.
Meadow has a lovely medium-high energy level. She'd happily join you for long walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, or any adventure you have planned.
The best part? She also knows how to relax. Once she's had her fun, she's more than happy to snooze in her crate or stretch out in a sunny spot and watch the world go by.
Home life
✔ Loves her crate
✔ Sleeps through the night
✔ Toilet training? Nailed it.
School report
Lead walking is still a work in progress. She tries so hard to be polite, but if something exciting catches her eye, all those good intentions can disappear in an instant.
She's a clever girl who's already mastered sit and is making fantastic progress with stay, down, wait, and come.
Meadow is affectionate, playful, clever, and full of personality. She'll thrive with a family who'll continue her training, include her in their adventures, and, most importantly, return all the love she's so eager to give.

A Note on Training and Adopting Our Dogs
Our dogs are wonderful, and we invest a great deal of time and effort into their training and preparation. However, no dog is “perfectly trained” or ready to adopt without any ongoing work.
All dogs go through normal life stages and changes — puppyhood, adolescence, adulthood, aging, moving homes, and adapting to new environments. Any of these can lead to stress, uncertainty, or moments of testing boundaries.
Because of this, ongoing training is essential. Training isn’t a one-off task; it’s a continual process that helps you understand your dog’s needs, support them through transitions, and set everyone up for long-term success.
We would expect adopters to maintain the training we’ve started and seek further guidance if needed. We’re always happy to help with information and recommendations for trainers, and provide advice during the trial and adoption process also.
Can't adopt Meadow? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
