Meet Ivy: Your Adventurous Little Explorer
Ivy is a spirited and affectionate dachshund with a zest for life. Though she may be small in stature, her heart is full of courage and curiosity. Ivy is seeking a compassionate, experienced home where she can continue her journey toward confidence and joy.
What Ivy Needs:
Experienced Home: Ivy thrives in a household familiar with dachshunds or dogs prone to separation anxiety. She requires an owner who understands her needs and is committed to her well-being.
Adequate Exercise: Ivy is an active little adventurer who enjoys exploring her surroundings. Regular walks and playtime are essential to keep her happy and healthy.
Guided Socialization: Ivy benefits from structured introductions when meeting new dogs. A patient and experienced owner will guide her through these interactions, helping her build positive relationships.
Not a Lap Dog: Despite her small size, Ivy is not a typical lap dog. She prefers to explore and engage with her environment. A home that appreciates her independent spirit is ideal.
Ideal Home:
Ivy would thrive in a calm, structured environment with an owner who has experience managing dogs with separation anxiety. She is best suited to a kid free home or a home with older children (aged 12+), and can coexist with cats following appropriate introductions.
If you're ready to offer Ivy the understanding, patience, and adventure she craves, she promises to bring loyalty, joy, and a touch of mischief to your life. Ivy is more than just a pet; she's a companion ready to embark on new adventures with you.

Can't adopt Ivy? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
