🎨 Meet Frida – our little masterpiece in the making 🎨
Named after the iconic Frida Kahlo, this girl is bold, full of personality, and absolutely impossible to ignore. Frida arrived in foster care this week and has already made herself very much at home… preferably somewhere warm, dry, and worthy of her artistic standards.
Frida is fast, playful, endlessly curious, and loves learning new things. She’s already sleeping beautifully through the night and is smashing toilet training like an absolute pro. She’s also working hard on her “less tiny shark, more sophisticated lady” skills and is very proud of herself.
This clever girl adores toys, zoomies, and turning everyday moments into dramatic performances. Wet grass, however, remains deeply offensive and beneath her standards.
We think Frida will grow into a lean medium-sized dog with plenty of energy for adventures, games, and cuddles once the day’s important business is complete.
She is great with kids and cats, making her the perfect mix of fun, affection, and chaos in the very best way.
Frida would thrive in a home ready for puppy antics, ongoing training, and lots of laughs along the way. In return, you’ll get a loyal best friend, endless entertainment, and your very own colourful little character 💛

A Note on Training and Adopting Our Dogs
Our dogs are wonderful, and we invest a great deal of time and effort into their training and preparation. However, no dog is “perfectly trained” or ready to adopt without any ongoing work.
All dogs go through normal life stages and changes — puppyhood, adolescence, adulthood, aging, moving homes, and adapting to new environments. Any of these can lead to stress, uncertainty, or moments of testing boundaries.
Because of this, ongoing training is essential. Training isn’t a one-off task; it’s a continual process that helps you understand your dog’s needs, support them through transitions, and set everyone up for long-term success.
We would expect adopters to maintain the training we’ve started and seek further guidance if needed. We’re always happy to help with information and recommendations for trainers, and provide advice during the trial and adoption process also.
Can't adopt Lainey? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
