Meet Finch: Your Future Personal Trainer, Security Guard, and Comedic Sidekick
If you’ve ever thought, “My life could use more enthusiasm, more laughter, and maybe a little more cardio,” allow me to introduce Finch, a dog who approaches every day like it’s his first day on Earth and he’s determined to experience all of it at once.
Finch’s Special Skills Include:
Parkour Enthusiast: Has been known to bounce and zoom off surfaces with Olympic-level commitment.
Fence Inspector: Will personally test your fencing for structural integrity. Good fencing is a must; Finch takes his job seriously.
Professional Goofball: His comedic timing is impeccable. His facial expressions alone deserve their own sitcom.
Training Superstar (in progress): Finch is smart, eager, and already working hard on his manners. He just needs an experienced human who can keep the momentum going.
Finch’s One Hard Rule:
No cats. Finch has reviewed the concept of cats and has decided, respectfully, that they are suspicious and must be avoided at all costs.
Finch’s Dream Home:
A secure, well-fenced yard where he can practice his zoomies without accidentally auditioning for a neighborhood escape room.
A human who knows their way around training and is excited to help Finch become his best self.
Someone who appreciates a dog with personality, pizazz, and the occasional dramatic flair.
Why You’ll Love Him:
Finch is the kind of dog who makes you laugh even on your worst days. He’s affectionate, loyal, and genuinely wants to be part of your team. He’s a work in progress, but aren’t we all? And with the right person, he’s going to shine.
If you’re ready for a dog who brings joy, chaos, and endless entertainment, Finch is ready to bring his whole heart (and his whole wiggle butt) to you.

A Note on Training and Adopting Our Dogs
Our dogs are wonderful, and we invest a great deal of time and effort into their training and preparation. However, no dog is “perfectly trained” or ready to adopt without any ongoing work.
All dogs go through normal life stages and changes — puppyhood, adolescence, adulthood, aging, moving homes, and adapting to new environments. Any of these can lead to stress, uncertainty, or moments of testing boundaries.
Because of this, ongoing training is essential. Training isn’t a one-off task; it’s a continual process that helps you understand your dog’s needs, support them through transitions, and set everyone up for long-term success.
We would expect adopters to maintain the training we’ve started and seek further guidance if needed. We’re always happy to help with information and recommendations for trainers, and provide advice during the trial and adoption process also.
Can't adopt Finch? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
