Ember

FEMALE | BORN APPROX MARCH 2026 | MIXED BREED

LOCATED IN MARTON

Please note: Ember is an exception and will be adopted from Marton. Her meet and greets will be in or around Marton

If you're after a calm, sedentary puppy who enjoys long naps and quiet reflection... keep scrolling. Ember has places to be, things to sniff, toys to destroy, and adventures to embark on.

This happy-go-lucky pup runs on enthusiasm and curiosity. Toys? Amazing. Other dogs? Best thing ever. Random leaf blowing across the yard? Potentially life-changing.

Ember approaches every day with the energy of someone who's had three coffees and just discovered the world is full of exciting things. The good news is that all those puppy brains are being put to good use. Ember is incredibly smart and is already learning the basics, including sit, lie down, wait, leave it, and come. She's also doing brilliantly with her crate training and happily settles in her crate when it's time to rest - a skill that will make life much easier for her future family.

Ember is looking for a family that understands puppyhood - the chewing, the zoomies, the occasional questionable life choices, and all the laughter that comes with it.

She's met older children and has been introduced to cats, horses, and chickens. With continued guidance, training, and positive experiences, we think she has the potential to live happily alongside all of them.

What Ember needs:

✅ An active family

✅ Plenty of toys

✅ Patience while she learns the rules

✅ A sense of humour

✅ Someone willing to explain that not every stick, leaf, or suspicious-looking rock needs to come inside

What Ember offers:

❤️ Endless entertainment

❤️ Unlimited affection

❤️ Adventure buddy potential

❤️ A lifetime supply of puppy kisses

❤️ A puppy who is already learning that crates are for relaxing, not protesting

If Ember sounds like the missing piece of your family, we'd love to hear from you.

A Note on Training and Adopting Our Dogs

Our dogs are wonderful, and we invest a great deal of time and effort into their training and preparation. However, no dog is “perfectly trained” or ready to adopt without any ongoing work.

All dogs go through normal life stages and changes — puppyhood, adolescence, adulthood, aging, moving homes, and adapting to new environments. Any of these can lead to stress, uncertainty, or moments of testing boundaries.

Because of this, ongoing training is essential. Training isn’t a one-off task; it’s a continual process that helps you understand your dog’s needs, support them through transitions, and set everyone up for long-term success.

We would expect adopters to maintain the training we’ve started and seek further guidance if needed. We’re always happy to help with information and recommendations for trainers, and provide advice during the trial and adoption process also.

Can't adopt Ember? You can still help.

Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
