Corporate volunteer days with The Dog Rescue Project are hands-on, meaningful, and a great way for teams to connect while making a real difference for rescue dogs.

Based at our North Shore office, volunteer groups can assist with a range of tasks including organising supplies, stocktake, deliveries to foster caregivers, dog walking, and helping with any dogs currently in our care. We also love tailoring the day to suit your team’s strengths and interests, whether that’s marketing, reporting, creative brainstorming, or practical support.

More than anything, we see these days as an opportunity to share the story behind rescue. Our team loves talking about the dogs, sharing rescue journeys, answering questions, and helping people better understand the impact volunteers and foster caregivers have on saving lives.

As a foster-based rescue, we don’t operate a shelter. Every dog in our care lives in a loving foster home until they find their forever family. We often arrange for some of our rescue dogs to visit during volunteer days, so ideally participants enjoy being around dogs.
