Meet Brioni 🌼
Brioni is the kind of girl who seems to make herself at home wherever she goes.
She’s sweet, social and wonderfully easy to have around. She loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has already been a fantastic influence on her foster brother Walton, helping him learn that making friends isn’t so scary after all.
THE BEST BITS
Everyone is a potential friend.
Brioni is a people-loving, dog-loving little social butterfly. She’s affectionate, friendly and very happy to be part of whatever is going on.
Adventure ready.
She loves getting out and about and walks nicely on lead. Whether it’s a wander around the neighbourhood or a trip to the beach, Brioni is very happy to come along.
Possibly the easiest road-trip companion ever.
Brioni is so quiet in the car that you might find yourself double-checking she actually got in. She settles beautifully, sits patiently and waits until you reach your destination.
Toy enthusiast.
She loves chasing toys and already has a few firm favourites. A little playtime is always welcome in Brioni’s world.
Food is VERY important.
Brioni is a certified foodie. Dinner is serious business, and if another dog happens to leave theirs unattended… well, Brioni believes in reducing food waste. 😂 Her new family will just need to keep an eye on mealtimes.
Happy to settle.
At night, she’s quiet and comfortable in her crate without a peep.
STILL LEARNING
Toilet training is currently a work in progress. When Brioni needs to go, she really needs to go, so her new family will need to continue helping her learn a good routine. She’s settling beautifully into foster care, and with consistency and patience, we expect her to keep making progress.
THE IDEAL HOME
Brioni would suit a home looking for a friendly, affectionate dog who loves being included in everyday life. She could potentially live with another suitable dog and seems to genuinely enjoy canine company.
Cats and birds, however, are a definite no for Brioni.
She’ll need a family happy to continue her training, particularly around toileting, but in return they’ll be getting a gorgeous little companion who loves her walks, loves her toys, loves her people and perhaps loves dinner just a tiny bit too much.
Brioni has settled into foster life beautifully, and now she’s ready to find the people she can call her own. ❤️

A Note on Training and Adopting Our Dogs
Our dogs are wonderful, and we invest a great deal of time and effort into their training and preparation. However, no dog is “perfectly trained” or ready to adopt without any ongoing work.
All dogs go through normal life stages and changes — puppyhood, adolescence, adulthood, aging, moving homes, and adapting to new environments. Any of these can lead to stress, uncertainty, or moments of testing boundaries.
Because of this, ongoing training is essential. Training isn’t a one-off task; it’s a continual process that helps you understand your dog’s needs, support them through transitions, and set everyone up for long-term success.
We would expect adopters to maintain the training we’ve started and seek further guidance if needed. We’re always happy to help with information and recommendations for trainers, and provide advice during the trial and adoption process also.
Can't adopt Brioni? You can still help.
Although we charge a small adoption fee, this doesn't generally cover the costs of us getting our dogs ready for adoption. Desexing, grooms, vet care, vaccinations, registration, training and variety of other things can go into these dogs. If you'd like to help either on a one off or regular basis we would be grateful for your donation.
